Motus

Motus is a performance involving a dancer interacting with a motion capture system in order to produce sound and visual output. Frame differencing drives pitch and volume of the sound, as well as the position of the lines created in the visualization. Accelerometer data from two wii remotes are processed through a signal processing tree algorithm and utilized to drive color, line curvature, and transparency of the visualization, as well as the volume of the sound output.
